Gourmet Pantry opened its doors to area residents in Lubbock, October 1983. We moved to the current location in Kingsgate Center, October 1988.
Our purpose is to offer the finest in kitchenware and all the new products that are offered by the industry. Further we believe that listening to our customers has been the key to our success.
Gourmet Pantry has been in business for over 25 years. We provided cooking classes in the store for nearly 10 years.
Our instructors were notable chefs and well known cooking instructors across the state. Some of instructors were Nancy Parker from Greenville, Texas, who has done many events for Neiman Marcus and also, Dean Fearing, Chef at The Mansion Restaurant in Dallas, a 5 star restaurant.
Through trade organizations and magazines we learn about all the new information in our field. We have even been quoted in “The Gourmet Retailer” and “Kitchenware News” regarding our opinions on various industry situations. We attend the Gourmet Products Shows annually where we enjoy friendships with manufacturers sales representatives and owners of businesses like ours. Not only have we steadily grown in kitchen essentials and gadgetry, we have also become significant in the bridal registry field. In 1999, we more than doubled our space to accommodate the growing need to have more selection for future brides.
Now we offer significant variety in dishes, crystal, flatware, and all areas of cooking and dining. Further, we have added decorative accessories that complement any decor. Hopefully, our reputation for quality and service will spread to all of our present and future customers.
We offer suggestions with solutions.
